The Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) has included NECSUS in their database. DOAJ was established to increase the visibility and ease of use of open access scientific and scholarly journals. DOAJ aims to be comprehensive and to cover all open access scientific and scholarly journals that use a quality control system to guarantee their content. Open access journals are defined by DOAJ as journals that use a funding model that does not charge readers or their institutions for access. Amsterdam University Press and NECSUS continues to support an open access model and we are pleased to be included in the DOAJ database.
